Stronger Communities Grants - Round 8

Northpine is pleased to announce four recipients in the latest round of grants from its Stronger Communities fund, a programme launched in 2020 to help the people of Bream Bay. The local entities to benefit from the eighth round of funding are:

·      Bream Bay Community Support Trust – driver mentoring programme

·      Bream Bay College Surf Team – to compete in NZ Secondary Schools nationals, Raglan, in August

·      Waipu 2000 & Beyond Community Chest – to help pay for an equipment upgrade

·      OTP Pony Club – assistance with fundraising for a new arena

Grants are made quarterly by Northpine from applications received over the previous three months.

Despite the challenges and uncertainties of Covid-19, Northpine’s Stronger Communities initiative has distributed about $40,000 in funding to Bream Bay locals for projects, events and activities.

Applications are now open until mid-August 2022 for the next round of grants, to be announced in early September. Details of criteria and Application Forms are available at: www.northpine.co.nz/community
