Northpine is pleased to announce three recipients in the latest round of grants from its Stronger Communities fund, a programme launched in 2020 to help the people of Bream Bay. The local entities to benefit from the sixth round of funding are:

·      Waipu Lawn Tennis Club – for its Junior Coaching Programme

·      Waipu Business & Community Inc – for the promotion of Waipu and assistance with Covid-19 recovery

·      Bream Bay Swim Club – for ‘Skins’ competition prizes

Grants are made quarterly by Northpine, from applications received over the previous three months.

In its first 18 months, the Stronger Communities programme has distributed over $30,000 in funding to Bream Bay locals for events and activities that enhance local life. Applications are open until mid-February 2022 for the next round of grants, to be announced in early March.
