STRONGER COMMUNITIES – Round 12 grants – JUNE 2023

Northpine is pleased to announce the following recipients of grants in the latest round of funding (Round 12) from its Stronger Communities fund:

• Bream Bay Swimming Club – to assist with swim carnival costs, Wellington.
• CS Groms Northland – after-school youth group activities (skateboarding/surfing)
• Nga Puhi Ahi – under-15 rugby league tournament, Rotorua.
• One Tree Point School PTA – ‘Beats For Bingo’ fundraising night
• Ruakaka Primary School – Patuharakeke Matariki Festival event
• Te Kohanga Reo O Takahiwai – new decking timber for #3 Whare.

Stronger Communities was initiated in 2020 and made its first allocation in September, soon after the first Covid-19 lockdown ended. Since then, about $60,000 has been distributed in the local (Bream Bay) community.
